This show is special because it's not DBZ. The main characters aren't the most powerful, and problems aren't fixed simply by powering up. There's some real texture to this show man. Everything is contextual!

3 facts 1. The Kings design was inspired by Cell & Freeza. 2. Shigaraki, the villian with all the hands from My Hero Academia, is the same voice actor as the King. So whenever you get back into My Hero Academia & hear Shigaraki speak just remember, its also the King that is speaking. 3. Everyone with King in their name is a glorious savage SOB.😎👍

Its also not fix by the power of friendship. And your right. Its not like Dragon Ball at all where your main character, Kid Goku, is able to defeat older & more experience fighters like Tien & King Piccolo. I like that's not the case with HxH because its much more realistic. Kids shouldn't be capable of defeating full grown adults with way more experience just because their the main characters. Togashi pretty much said no plot armor for my main character(s).

Knuckle was nice enough to even explain his entire nen ability to Gon, even though he could have wiped the floor with him either way
