I can't believe I keep forgetting to write up the polls in time...

Anyway, let's do this.

This poll will be open from April 9 (Whenever I manage to get this out) to April 13 (10pm CET).

And your options are:

-

1. Really Makes You Sphinx - Out of all the poets on Terrelai, the Orcs are by far the most beloved poets in the Seventh Realm. So much so that what chance does a poor human have at making a name for himself as a distinguished lyricist?

In the Academy of Tenshyr, one such student of the arts has had enough of being shown up by the Orcish students there that he begins searching the Tenshyr Lycaeum for anything that'll give him an edge. And to his luck, he discovers an old text describing the Well of Inspiring Revelations. A fount somewhere in the Taurian Plains that is said to hold magical waters that'll give the mind and soul a divinely artistic perspective on life.

After a long journey across the plains, the student discovers the well and eagerly submerges themselves in the mystical waters. As inspiration and wisdom floods their mind, they seem to be so distracted as to not realize that their body begins to change as well, blue fur sprawling across their skin, a tail shoots out from behind and before long, they step out of the pool. On all fours!

But despite the drastic change from human to Sphinx, she doesn't mind in the slightest. Having the wisdom and creativity she always wanted, she feels fulfilled and sets off to the nearest city where she entertains people with her riddles and rhymes.

[Seventh Realm, human male to female Sphinx. Although quadropedal, imagine something slightly more humanoid than a lion's body.]

-

2. An Equalizing Force - A man is walking his dog down the street in the city when the dog notices a blue swirling portal that only the dog and the man sees. The dog breaks free and runs in as the man hurries after.

Once through they find themselves in a field with a stone temple in the distance. They wander off to find help, as the man grows muscular, but also feminine. And the dog becomes more humanoid in their appearance.

After receiving an explanation from the Celestines which inhabit Dyleus, the new Orc and her Qian-do partner find themselves in the city of Minchiri in the Empire of Hyraal.

[Gateworld, Human male to female Orc and Dog into a female Qian-do]

3. "Uhm, Actually Time Doesn't Work This Way" - In the Seventh Realm, the most prominent figure of magical learning at the Academy of Tenshyr is the Magus Maximus, a man of unsurpassed knowledge and power. Frequently called upon to unravel the higher mysteries of the magical world and even speak to the Old Gods on behalf of all sorcerers, wizards, witches and other casting folk, only royalty carries a greater level of influence and prestige.

… That is so long as you're not the current holder of the title, a septuagenarian human and scion of a rather infamous magical legacy. Gibson Synoir is that man, who has spent his entire life steeped in scholarly pursuits and little else. Which is immediately apparent the moment he opens his mouth to weigh in on any passing conversation to hastily correct or inform his educated peers. Most try to stay away from him, or else be “uhm, actually’d.”

One day as he was scrying the fabric of time using his personal chronarium (a magical device which allows you to project yourself across the ages and should theoretically not be able to disturb fragile flow of time), and somehow managed to move one event that would change Gibson’s fate forever. By accidentally torching a rose garden to ash in the past, he prohibits his own father from pursuing the young lady who would one day turn into Gibson’s mother. And instead Gibson’s father chooses to dedicate his youth to his studies which will one day lead him to become the Magus Maximus instead!

But serendipitously Gibson does not disappear from history. Rather his life starts many years later, as the child of the Magus Maximus of Tenshyr and a lovely Goblin scholar. Now a young half-human-half-goblin lady by the name of Gwyneth, she quickly finds comfort in her new form. With the wisdom of hindsight, Gwyneth realizes that she only ever hid away in her books as “Gibson” because he was too dull to engage with the other students. But as Gwyneth, she has so much fun being the Academy’s resident party girl that being a woman is just right for her!

Of course, her soon-to-retire father wishes she’d spend more time studying than partying.

[Seventh Realm, Human male to female Half-Goblin, age regression, wholesome bimbofication]

4. Spring Cleaning - As it's been decades since the Nightfolk "de-cursed" the Tieflings that lived in the Human Kingdoms of Terrelai and turned them into Imps, the cozy old homes that the Tieflings used to live in have long been abandoned. And although the Reality Shift a few years ago made the Tieflings into much more humble people, their magical talents were still strong and extensive. And their homes were exposed to much of it...

In a terrible snowstorm, our Eggtagonist Human serendipitously discovers one of the abandoned Tiefling villages and takes shelter within one of the subterranean little cubbyholes. He also finds that although old and dusty, the little home is by all accounts in a fairly good state. The furniture is sturdy and solid, the wood-fire stove still has dry wood piled next to it and the dishes and cooking equipment are all whole. Although they are very filthy. But as luck would have it, if he just melts some snow on the stove he could clean them up in no time! And even more fortuitously, the larder was enchanted with a preservation charm that kept most of the food in a good state.

"Time's a'wasting!" The Human proclaimed and started to clean the home so vigorously that they hardly noticed how tight the apron started fitting around their chest. And they had to remember to duck underneath the iron-wrought chandelier or else their horns would get stuck.

"Wait, when did I grow horns?" She thought to herself as she tied her hair into a bun while looking in a mirror. Not that it mattered, there was still dust to sweep away. Not to mention the snow she dragged in with her hooves from the outside.

Soon enough, the old abandoned cubbyhole looked anything but abandoned. And it's new owner looked nothing like she had when she first entered. Now an adorably homely-looking Tiefling lady instead.

[Seventh Realm, human male to female Tiefling. In this we see what Tieflings looked like after the Reality Shift, but before most of them were "de-cursed" by the Nightfolk/Halflings. This is also what Tieflings look like in the Orcish Khanates and north of the Galrian Kingdoms.]

5. Jacked In And Jacked! - A new expansion to Empire Bay's most popular VR experience, The Continuum, has dropped and it promises a bunch of new "quality of life changes" and "increased immersion."

One very passionate AMAB fan gets it on day one and chooses to create a new Avatar since there are a bunch of new customization options. But it's not just new options, the expansion also adds "immersive character customization," which basically means that when you're making a new Avatar, the new options actively and realistically transforms the Avatar in real time. Someone on the dev team definitely had a hidden fascination they really wanted in the game...

Our eggtagonist giddily transforms the basic human Avatar into a tall, muscular and busty Tiger-girl with a rad afro. Obliviously having spent hours making her look just right, hunger sets in and they decide it's time to "Apply and Save changes."

To her great surprise, when she takes off the headset, her real world avatar (or y'know, her actual physical body) has also changed!

"Increased immersion" indeed.

[Empire Bay, AMAB human egg to female tiger-girl. Like a catgirl, but a tiger.]
