Harmala research (Patreon)

I mentioned in my last video that sublingual absorption of harmalas is the most efficient way to get it into the human body, but since no studies have been published on this (as far as I know) I wasn't sure what an effective dose might be for the purposes of vaped DMT (plenty of studies have been published on oral harmalas and DMT). Through experimentation I have found that cutting the dose to just 75mg of a half THH half harmine/harmaline mix I recommend in my last video, taken sublingually for 10 minutes, worked perfectly for vaped DMT, I noticed no difference in duration or intensity/sensitivity to the DMT compared to a much higher dose of the harmala mix.  Note that for just harmine alone most people will only need to use between 40-50mg, and for harmaline alone only 30-50mg are required.  I am quite pleased that these compounds can be stretched this far.  Also after doing more searching, I found the following study which may shed at least a little more light, these guys compared sublingual vs oral absorption of norharman in humans, this is a different beta carboline but probably shares some similarities with regard to absorption rate and bioavailability to the beta carbolines we are interested in: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11669455

They found that the sublingual route resulted in a remarkable 65-fold increase in bioavailability compared to oral ingestion!  Another nice benefit from the lower dosage is a complete lack of any nausea whatsoever.
