Saliva/fluid effects are something that are 100% on my list of things to learn. I have played around with manually moving drool strands myself and it might work, but I want to try simulating it properly. I have a couple of animations I plan on impementing it in, but haven't found the time to get a good handle on it. Something I hope to figure out if I get a chance to spend more time with blender.
