Early Access - Chapter Twelve (Patreon)

Alright mates!

Here's the next video.  Tis the halfway point of the story so I guess it's fitting that it's The Culling of Stratholme part.  I kinda have to take the 'less is more' approach a lot of the time because my PC is a potato but hopefully it's still effective.

Had my 2nd session of DnD last night.  Still using the site Roll20 but I definitely think I'll enjoy it more once social distancing measure have been lifted.  For one thing... I only know the DM.  My entire party are a bunch of strangers irl.  So it still feels a bit awkward for me.  And also Roll20 was real laggy last night (which I guess makes sense since it was Saturday).

Still pretty funny though.  The whole group ended up really overthinking how we'd enter a bathhouse - rather than just walk in and say "Hi... we're with the Flaming Fists... can we ask some questions...", we went in as two separate groups with cover stories; both of which failed immediately.  

The first group failed because, after discussing it for like 30 minutes, they walked in... and the guy that's playing as a Kobold just immediately poked the manager of the place in the crotch.  So they got kicked out.  

And then I walked in and acted like I was a very famous bard and the others were my bodyguards, asked how much a bath or massage would be and then decided it was too expensive and left.  

I don't think we're doing it right.

We're basically all ranged classes as well.  We don't have any melee peeps.  So combat has actually been really difficult so far.  Especially since Descent into Avernus seems to start with several, really difficult fights for some reason.   But we're still somehow all alive so that's cool.
