Biweekly update #50 FINAL (Patreon)

This marks the 50th time I've made a biweekly update. I am now ending the biweekly updates and switching over to monthly updates to tally what I've done in that month, whilst continuing to post regularly about smaller updates.

Why the discontinuation? Sometimes not a lot of things happen in between updates. Writing for example, takes up 50% of my time every month, and sometimes that's all I've been doing. When I don't have much to show for, I start to get anxious which is actually quite stressful. I want to reduce the amount of stress I get from working on Tailor Tales, I'd like to keep my blood pressure low haha.

Onto the actual update!

Art progress
- Finished Greg's sprite (Aiden's route)
- Finished James' 7th CG

Game progress
- Finished James' chapter 25

Script progress
- Finished writing both versions of James' chapter 26

As I warned with the last update; James' route will now have a single chapter release a month, starting with chapter 25. Writing-wise, the work and amount stays the same (chapter 26 is 20k words), but in the game itself you would only read one version of chapter 26. Unless, of course, you go back to chapter 25 to start a new route to be able to read the other ending. Whatever works for you!

Once James' route comes to an end, I will most likely take a small break in between and only focus on releasing Caine's 1st side story, before I start developing Aiden's and Gray's route. I estimate I will finish James' script in January, development probably February, and Patreons are able to play his epilogue in March.

Which likely means that Aiden's and Gray's route will start in May! Oh gosh, I need to find me some voice actors already. And draw the final sprite for Gray's route! Rosariy is helping with rendering my sprite sketches so that's a lot of help already.

Fashion Show
I am coming to terms with the fact Fashion Show - as much as I wanted this to be a feature - is not happening. Inconsistency with my programmer and his availability is allowing this feature to be caught in limbo for more than a year now. To be honest, it IS a big feature, and it would be a shame to spend so much time working on it, only for players to not care for it much like the date feature. So for now, my next goal is to be able to add all the custom outfits that were made by Rosariy, as well as give Plus users the option to toggle the chapter requirements on/off so that they're still able to grind and make outfits for clients.
