Monthly update #42 (Patreon)

Well, despite the warning I said about Moonstone Remix, I have to say that's the only thing I've worked on these past few weeks! Just because my programmer has lost a lot of progress, doesn't mean I can't do some work on it.
I've been learning the engine Godot, getting myself familiar with the GUI, and how to set up a very simple scene in which I could control a character and move it around. It's a lot different than RPG Maker (engine used in Tailor Tales), who has all of that built-in. In Godot you have to code every single little thing. So yeah, it's been a lot to process!
Since I've only been learning 3D for about a year now as well, I've been trying to create models in Blender and import it into Godot. Currently I've been trying to work on the 3D map that is present in Moonstone Remix, it's supposed to be the hub town where you can run into the other characters.
The current map I have so far - only doing terrain at the moment, buildings and decoration come last.
It's been a fun process, but there's a lot of learning involved, so I feel like I don't have much to show for it! Literally the past two weeks has just been learning, and making the hub town map.
James is a dick no matter what universe.
Of course, still working on Tailor Tales! Lots of artwork I need to finish, new characters to draw, I've finished a toooon of new backgrounds. I'd show them, but I feel like they're very much spoilers, so you'll have to wait to see them in-game!
Speaking of spoilers, the upcoming chapters will reveal some twists and answers to questions you've probably been having in Eeyok's route, which is around chapters 18-20.
One thing that I know was an issue with James' route, is something I want to avoid in Eeyok's route. Which is to say; I don't want to wait until the end to make anything romantic happen. So I'm always very conscious about adding romantic scenes with Eeyok despite the plot-heavy nature of his route as well.
Either way - I'm quite busy with everything!
