She is not framing mrs kang for her husband’s murder. She just means that her daughter will be far away living a better life away from her parents’ issues which will be good for the daughter but mrs kang will be away from her since she wont be going with her

They cannot file any case on her for anything because of all the dirt she has on all of them. They dont want to risk her talking so they cannot do anything public like that

With Ms. Kang, it more like...im sending your daughter to the US so she is away when she hears about her dad and she isn't around her mom who plotted to have him killed. Not sending Ms. Kang to jail or anything but like...stop the cycle of violence by removing her from an abusive dad and a murdering mom

With Ms Kang I think it's more to do with the fact that Dong-eun has a lot riding on Kang for her revenge. If by some chance she gets caught or her daughter is used as leverage somehow, her plans will be delayed or at worst ruined. It makes sense why Dong-eun doesn't want a friendship- she knew she would have to make decisions like this. And let's be real, the Ms Kang we met at the end of episode 2 may not have agreed to work with her if she was told she would lose her daughter. She's a lot more confident and self-sufficient now as her daughter is better educated, but that came at a price. What they're both doing is wrong by the outlook of an outsider, so the question is more so: Is Ms Kang going to take her chances going for her revenge alone with little experience and resources and possibly run the risk of putting her and her daughter in danger OR take her chances helping Dong-eun with the solid prospect that if any of the worst comes to pass, at least her daughter will be safe? If I was her I know what I would pick; if killing her husband was easy she would've done it time ago and at least she's useful to Dong-eun. Little reason for her to think she won't hold up her end of the bargain (and if she did she could just rat her out like she mentioned prior).

And it's funny you mention Jae-joon is the most scary/not intimidated by Dong-eun because that's exactly what's going to bite him in the arse. The mf didn't piece together she sent him the toothbrush, he would have never known Ye-Sol was his daughter and he has the nerve to threaten Dong-eun about harming her- what an utter clown. (He also thinks she's been planning this from the time of the award ceremony I've noticed when really it's been like almost two decades lol). If the bullies weren't so self-centred, they could take Dong-eun down fairly quick, but Yeon-jin is the only one actively opposing her while Dong-eun has Yeo-jeong (the doctor), Ms Kang, the nurse and the friend from the earlier episodes (almost forgot her rip) with the same goal helping her. Yeon-jin has all the money, influence and connections but she's floundering lol, it's over for her (and the rest).

Moon is not framing Ms. Kang for her husband's murder. She thinks it's better for the daughter not to be around when it happens. She was giving Ms. Kang a reality check, reminding her that there won't be a happy ending.
