This movie wasn't bad but the fact the first half was a whole build up for the second half made me rank it less, it's definitely necessary for the story but sitting through it took some work until the Mysterio reveal

If I was Peter, I'd want to have a normal life as a teen too, especially after the blip. I'd understand that I could lose my people at any moment or that smth could happen to me. So I'd want to spend as much time as possible with them. I think they did a good job showing Peter's perspective as a teen hero in this movie. The start was kind of kiddish, but the overall message of ''responsibility'' is pretty mature in my opinion.

This was probably my least favorite Live Action Spider-Man movie. Jack Gylennhall did a really good job as Mysterio though and the action sequences/Last 45 minutes were really good.

The more I watch this, the more I realize that everytime Rob says he isn’t ‘accurate to the origin of Spider-Man’ , he isn’t comparing him to the comics he’s comparing him to Tobey and it’s pretty annoying. I’m glad Jerry corrected him on some things throughout the movie.

"comparison is the joy killer". The directors and screenwriters already made it clear that each Spider-Man has their OWN storyline and their OWN mental and physical battles. They don't make them have the exact same storyline for a reason. If you keep trying to compare them when they were purposefully made to be different from each other then of course you're gonna be unsatisfied. Stop comparing the movies and you might actually enjoy the new Spider-Man. It's a DIFFERENT STORY ON PURPOSE, if you prefer the old Spider-Man plot/storyline then THAT'S FINE go back and keep re-watching them but stop crying about it like little girls and realize this is a different storyline/AU.

Take a moment to realize that Mysterio was able to become an Avengers Level Threat with a small ass piece of Stark tech(glasses). That just shows how smart and OP Iron Man was, and even then, Mysterio STILL needed a WHOLE team just to control all the drones whereas Tony could've done all of that himself.
