Those episodes are cannon fillers but most of the fillers in the anime are sometimes mentioned in cannon episodes. IMO the fillers are enjoyable and worth the watch!

Definitely a great Juvia moment here. This is my second favorite fight of hers. And Meldy is great too. Prime example of what I mentioned way earlier on in that the power of friendship applies to everyone even villains. As long as they actually aren’t in it for themselves, they can do it too. There will be more examples further down the road as well.
