I'm with Pat about Cana. She really risked Lucy's life just so she could pass an exam that is on hold. Even after knowing her reason for wanting to pass the exam it still doesn't excuse what she did.

Same. Splitting up with Gray was already one thing, but then to ditch your partner too. Like that should be obvious that’s a prime way to fail the test. The whole reason they have partners is because they’re also being tested on their friendships. Makarov clearly isn’t going to want to give S-Class to someone who basically just sacrificed their friends to come out on top. The fact that there are enemies and the trial is on hold makes it even worse.
