People do not die in FT you can see a character get stabbed in the chest and they will not die. The only time from this point on that someone will die will be in backstories like ur or maybe a minor character. And this isn’t me trying to spoil anything for y’all that’s just how the show is sadly it ruins the stakes of a lot of fights

Mind you, imagine if the Fairy Tail fight were animated by Ufotable or Mappa, they’d be 100 times better and would better showcase all the chargers fighting abilities way better.

the animation isnt really the problem...its only the voices. English actors make it obvious that the show is geared for a younger audience but the sub makes it feel less cheesy. Unlike one piece dub which is similar in cheesiness, but its pretty funny. I dont think Fairy Tail is funny enough in comparison to get over the cheesiness. Now that i remember, i watched Fairy Tail a while back and this was the anime that made me transition from dub to sub permanently. However, i really enjoy the guys reaction, so i can deal with any version tbh.

The Erza vs Midnight fight was great! One of my favorite Erza fights. And yeah, Hibiki has absolutely been clutch throughout this entire arc. Definitely my favorite member of Blue Pegasus.
