Cobra’s Japanese VA made his character a bit cooler too, it really fit his character. This VA is good dont get me wrong, but the Sub version Cobra is my 3rd favourite after Laxus and someone else that wasnt seen yet in the whole show.

Now we’re officially in the second half of this arc, which is where a lot of the really great moments, fights, and lore bits happen. Gonna be a fun time. I guess I’ll just wait to the final fight of the arc to explain what’s actually going on with the dragon slayers’ transformations. But like I said before what Gajeel did was just a spell “Iron Dragon Scales.”

That’s not really necessary , information about the dragon slayers are explained in pretty crucial parts of the story and they make it pretty clear.

He had good character development with what happens to Cubelios in that one Lucy filler arc and in future arcs with the remaining oracion seis members but still the series doesn't use him as much as they should and most fights he's in after this are kinda mid/he barely does anything so I just can't put him past 5 for me.
