Ultra Instinct is literally a product of not being able to tell a story without forcing yourself to create a needless power struggle. Think about where Goku started to where he is now, it’s ridiculous. He was NEVER meant to be that strong, he only is that strong because it continues the narrative, which is bullshit writing in my opinion. Whereas One Piece for example, Mihawk was introduced literally less than 50 episodes in, already providing a height for how strong people can become and how strong people are in there vast world. Like think about it, Luffy wasn’t even top 15 strongest at Marineford.

And i’m being deadass, anyone who thinks Ultra Instinct is better does not give af about compelling narratives that actually have a story to tell, they only give af about flashy power ups that seem cool on the surface but sincerely have no genuine substance (SSJ 1/2/3 AND SSJG AND SSJGSS) and then become utterly useless because why? It doesn’t continue the narrative. Anyone who thinks Ultra Instinct is better is quite literally the Wojak drooling meme with zero brain cells, and yk thats fine you CAN like it better, but to sit and make an argument that Ultra Instinct is more compelling/impactful/iconic to the story is just straight up a moron
