In there base they're about even but not only did Bickslow lure Gray into one of Freed's enchantment barriers that made him unable to use magic but also he got in the way of one of his attacks when it was aimed at a girl. In a fair one Gray was going to win hands down.

I'm kind of on the fence about if Lucy should get all the credit for her dubs because even though she supplies her Celestial spirits with magic power they're still the ones doing most of the work. Wellz was almost spot on with that pokemon comparison of a trainer and their pokemon fighting together but in Lucy's case it's a trainer and a pokemon fighting just the trainer.

He didn't get low difficult Mystogan and Laxus are pretty much even and were locked in stalemate then Mystogan had to leave since his presence were causing distress for Erza. Technically spoilers i know but someone here mentioned that they are 1 episodes ahead so they already seen the scene.

I definitely agree with that which is why I think the credit for dubs should be 50/50 because Lucy and her spirits need one another to fight together just like when Ash and Pikachu battle someone, both should get the credit for it even though they have different roles

Gray only lost to Bickslow not just because he was protecting the little girl, but also because the enchantment prevented him from using magic. Bickslow straight up ran away and led him into it because he knew he wasn’t winning otherwise. Meanwhile Lucy isn’t in an enchantment at all so she’s free from being handicapped. It’s pretty pointless to even bother with powerscaling for this arc because of the various different rules each enchantment has.

That’s just Pat to be fair. And from what I’ve seen he’s always like that. Wellz absolutely cares about the story and characters. Evan seems to as well, even if not to the same extent. And of course so does Jerry. Even Rob has actually talked about he likes how the show handles the bonds between the characters. Actually yeah, Evan too. Evan straight up called Pat out on it when he he was calling Mira trash in the Phantom Lord arc and told him to stop/it’s not time for that.

they talked all over the part to realize Gray only lost cuz Bixlow purposely led him to an alley where Freed had set a "no magic" rule enchantment, otherwise Gray was whopping his ass. and he would have beat him even without the magic if not for the little girl.

Jerry sure talks too much on characters either hyping them up or trashing on them based on what he already knows making the reactions unauthentic for the rest of the guys. Because of this the guys can't seem to really enjoy erza mostly because Jerry overhyped her before she starts to show why she's that great. Compared to wellz with one piece Jerry talks way too much.

Bickslow led him to a “no-magic” zone, otherwise he was giving Bickslow an ass-whopping. And even within the non-magic zone he was giving him a good beating with plain hand-to-hand combat if he did not have to take the blow for the little girl. So maybe u need to go back and check what you saw lol
