if you look at it as a running gag, then you should just expect it to happen every now and then..appreciate the consistency, most shonen anime dnt have that

I don't mind it as a casual running gag but during a fight it just seems like a cheap way to keep Natsu out the fight and save him for later

I actually don’t mind it tbh it’s a part of the show

The motion sickness is the most consistent pay off I’ve ever seen in an anime. It’s set up in the first few minutes of episode 1 and is continuously built on and further explained until getting the ultimate pay off right at the very end
