Kamogawa made the right choice, Yuki had at most a year left to live due to radiation poisoning. Imagine starting a relationship with someone who has at most a year left to live. As for the manga the Ippo vs Miyata rematch has not happen yet. I speculate it will happen at the end of the manga or as an epilogue. Maybe in 5 to 7 years from now at the current pace.

Would be nice to see them react to Slam Dunk anime but that doesn't have an ending either, infact it might leave them more unsatisfied than in this one. Slam Dunk's manga is one of my favorites all time tho

Thanks for reacting to this anime. This was the second anime i got into after Naruto and what got me through my boxing lessons/training. The emotions and story telling is something I’ll always cherish, even rewatching some scenes gets me teary eyed. Pure essence of will power
