Its true signs of a good author is longevity and consistency. Naruto and Bleach shat the bed all over the place in their last half of the series. Now their latest new mangas have been canceled to. What can we gather from that? At the time they were writing they had no noticeable competition and now have been surpassed and forgotten due to always being mid writers. I literally grew up with the Big3 watching them since they came to America in the mid 2000s and it took 15+ years for it to be put on the mainstream anime map which DBZ, Naruto, Bleach and even countless shorter series were able to do regardless of their quality day 1. Anime wise if you skip fillers, Bleach is easily the most consistent followed by Naruto, while One Piece is just dragged into absolute oblivion and doesn’t know when the hell to end trickling down to ruin the quality that is the source material only until recently, and yet still has pacing issues up the ass, stretching to the moon and back farther and greater than Luffy. Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto and Tite Kubo’s Bleach could literally never be forgotten as they’ve been cemented in history, and will continue to prove and do so this very summer.

The only one who actually said they work was based on Bleach was Gege with JJK, Demonslayer is just a standard shonen with inspiration from all the big 3 and takes inspiration from the same era of japan that soul society does(Feudal japan is like cowboy era for japan cinema). in terms of story, plot, and serious characterization fairy tail is pretty trash. Ass pull wins for the main characters and so many other issues, Its a little worse then average than a basic shonen because it relies on friendship powerups for nearly everything. Fairy Tail is basically carried because of their character designs and power systems.

Even if we go by the source material, there’s no dramatic or drastic gap between them since they were still all held in high regard as a Big3, for Japan one piece might be the best but everywhere else it’s between Naruto and Bleach with one piece last. Bruh, i have lmao. DS's author has name drop'd all the big 3 as inspirations ontop of other shonen, and even gone as far as to say Kenshin inspired tanjiro with the red hair and scar. There is also no obvious comparison between the two besides the time period, saying bleach inspired it the same way it inspired JJK is cap. JJK you have the obvious and subtle ones(domain expansion = bankai from bleach and Jujutsu = Nen from HxH even with the limiters). Gege has also openly admitted this. Same with Tabata and BC. Im assuming guts is the inspiration for asta and his sword, but the western shit is obvious as fuck(elves,dwarves,demons and the other tolken shit, ontop of the norse mythos with yuno and golden dawn leader, etc.). Also id agree with you on kishimoto if he hasn't been heavily involved with it since he stop'd work on the Sci-fi project he was doing and its still been bad for the last year. Dude just desperately seems like he wants to move away from the naruto vers but is constantly forced to write for it for money.

Another simple fact is that regardless of how you feel about America, it’s the biggest market for anime series, specifically their adaptations, and anything that can make it here is basically put on the mainstream map, it’s like I said my main comment like the saying goes, if you can make it in New York you can make it anywhere. It took 20+ years for one piece to make it on the main stream anime map and that’s the truth, regardless of the success and quality of its source material. While for almost any other series, it only took a few years at most. TBF even JoJos took 20+ years since it didn’t have an anime for the longest time as it was considered ‘Unadaptable’ due to how difficult it was to animate and that’s just another reason why I have so much profound respect for it.

I can’t really hate on this show cause this was one of the first series that got me into anime in general and I do hope y’all enjoy the series, but I understand why most people would rather watch y’all react to something else cause there are a lot of better shows out there. Such as Spyxfamily or Kaguya sama Honestly I “personally” would like y’all to give the Gundam series a try. Since there’s a lot, it would be good to get into Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans (IBO) or Witch from mercury. Both are really good.

I have no problem with Fairy Tail, it's one of those animes you watch when you expand beyond Dragon Ball or Naruto as a kid/teen. I do remember that Wellz ranked OP at 9th and Bleach at 14th as a series but than he recently ranked the SS arc 2 spots higher than any OP arc so it somewhat fairly evens out for him but I don’t remember Pat ever saying that, however I do remember that he said that it’s the best anime ever and peak anime during their TYBW Ep 7 reaction. They’re all equal for different reasons overall and the success varies depending on where you’re looking. Manga wise sure, one piece is more successful, but anime wise, Bleach has always been more successful. Primarily when they’re airing alongside each other like now. The attention on Bleach’s anime as well as its reception couldn’t be more clear that it’s better. If you prefer one piece anime which I’m sure you do then more power to you.
