The director for this season is the same dude that did CSM and Ranking of Kings(he also did some work on S1). Honestly this dudes work is so fire, the camera work on some of the scenes and the little sounds, makes it feel cinematic af.

I love the art, directing, & animation for this episode, I have high hopes for this season. Parts of this really felt like I was watching a Tarantino movie or something, I like how stylized it is. Can't believe we getting this and Bleach in the same week!

Sales in manga say otherwise. Same for viewership. Don't get my wrong Hell's Paradise is one of my most anticipated series and I love gabimaru as a main c, and cannot wait to see the reuninion with the village elder play out down the road, that fight is going to go crazy. It's a great fast paced show, with a lot of solid characters for it's show and how it introduces them quickly and packages them like prime rib tied up before thrown into the fire then devoured, then you move onto the next. JJK definitely has more longevity with characters, as it takes the time and savors adding more flavor over time through backstories and are more relatable with motives/with more realistic relatable character traits/less exaggerated/carbonized similar to bleach/naruto characters being over the top compared to those from cowboy bebop or say a stein's gate. Apples to oranges, One of the two is more in season above the rest currently and that is S2 JJK, even above Bleach believe it or not. Don't believe me look at the online traffic/google search, same as last year ;)

This animation is what i’ve been wanting for my own anime and others. really fluid but also done like a live action or movie with certain scenes and dragging scenes slightly to grasp the suspense good or bad. This might be might 2nd favorite anime if they story gets crazy.
