Wellz I remember you used to rock with Eustass Kid heavy but it seems like your discord server somehow manipulated you into disliking him. Don’t listen to them he is a great and very strong character despite 1079. Unfortunately a lot of kids just spam Useless Captain Mid because of agendas and because their favorite YouTuber once said it in a video. Zoro has better haki feats than both kid and law combined but law at least has a broken fruit. For a character that was set up to be a rival to luffy, kid hasnt even come close to reaching expectations. Strength aside hes also a really flat dull character with nothing going for him other than being triggered all the time while at least caring about his crew

Real question but do you actually think Oda is going to cook something up for Kid cause let's be real with recent events it doesn't seem like he has any hopes of making an impact in the story whereas Law escaped his situation. Kid was hyped up to be Luffy's rival but from what we've seen it doesn't seem like it at all. I'd argue that Zoro or Sanji could take on Kid based on what we saw from them. I had hopes for Kid as a character but so far it doesn't seem like he has any purpose aside from being used to prop up other characters.

My issue is the "on the last episode" constantly changing from 2-5 min. I dont like it in the first place, since OP already has plenty of flashbacks to remind you of shit but if you are gonna do it why does it have to constantly change in time. Shit just feels jarring when some "on the last episode" is twice as long as the one before it.

Gotta agree with Jerry. Kaido is pretty much just Khorne as a OP character. He's all about trial by combat and only respects strength. Kaido is not full-on scheming evil like Doffy. When he does evil shit he does it to further his and his armies strength, which is all that matters to him. That and alcohol.

I never said oda didnt have anything planned. Odas plan was to parallel him with Luffy. Then punk him out to prop up Luffy and capitalize their differences. And 1079 100% did that. And just for reference I am a kidd fan. I'm just not disappointed because he turned out to be exactly what I thought he was

his backstory got offscreended in an sbs. Oda doesnt give a shit about any charcter not set up for the endgame at this point. Law is safe simply for having a D in his name. Every other supernova is just fodder. And bonnies role in the story was something oda came up with last minute to give her something to do. It doesnt feel natural at all.
