Gally was not trash, I do blame Thomas for those deaths even though he was figuring things out and finding the way. In the span of 3 days the last person was sent up, a bunch of people died and the doors that keep the monsters away are now staying open. That kind of change is so drastic for someone who's lived in the maze for 3 years, Thomas is was reckless in his approach and didn't consider anyone else's well being he just wanted answers. It's actually really hard for me to put blame on Thomas or Gally though.
