Great post discussion, one of the things demon slayer does well that other animes dont is having a villain group that is strong and kills major characters. They established early on with rengoku that no one has plot armor. This makes every fight have high stakes and actually entertaining.

@panda What villain group in any mappa anime are killing off major characters? Jjk no, aot has no villain group, hells paradise no, csm villain group caught one body and there gone. Upper moons are all the strongest in the verse thats my point, which is why every fight is good. The stakes in a fight with denji vs katana man compared to tanjiro vs any upper rank is so different.
