great movie

Seal

I would say react to 300 and it’s prequel/sequel Rise of an empire, only cause God of War is soon getting an adaptation and they’re Greek oriented.

Repsol

This movie is too fire. Ya'll need to get on Fury next

This is one of the greats. Should watch All quiet on the western front next!

Xavier Coburn

Definitely do fury and hacksaw ridge

Nyeisha Melvina Clark

As for movies in general, not just war movies, my vote is still for Watchmen!!! It is one of the best comic book adaptations and I just know you guys would love it. It’s right up you guys alley.

Mads Larsen

Underrated movies worth watching that a lot of people probably haven't watched, in no particular order: 12 Angry Men Sin City Jojo Rabbit The History of The Seattle Mariners, Dorktown, Secret Base on YouTube

Ajamu

Dunkirk, 1917 plz

Kristoffer holmås kvalheim

I saw this movie as a kid and boy did I see a lot of shit I wasn't ready to see😂

Louie

The tactic for Normandy was basically throw more people at them than they can shoot. Shit's wild but if nothing was done, we'd be Heil'ing Hitler

Avery

300 or All quiet on the Western Front

Jim clifton

ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT

Really isn’t Realistic as a WW1 movie beat great overall movie

Kai

tom Clancy without remorse is a pretty nice action with a simple plot

Chris

Fury Dunkirk Hacksaw Ridge 1917 All amazing war movies to react to!

Andrew Jones

Fury is a great movie. Brad Pitt and other famous actors are in it

What?

For war movies, definitely Dunkirk and 1917, two of the best war movies in recent memory. Aside from that, I'd say watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Though, as Evan said, they are LONG.

Grimm

Watch Fury next it's with Brad Pitt. Also 300 both of them would be a fun react

Alain Orozco

You guys need to watch the Band of Brothers series. I’d also recommend Overlord and Fury

Darrell Henry

Watch Troy the OG war.

BT

Yes, so many good war movie suggestions. Shia LaBeouf, Jon Bernthal, and Michael Peña!

BT

They have to watch the extended edition. LOL.

Dan

yoooo lets go, yall gotta do Band of Brothers after this, its a show but good af

Dan

I just wanna point out those two dudes who were surrendering were speaking Czech and the English translation of what the Czech says is “Please don’t shoot me! I am not German, I am Czech, I didn’t kill anyone! I am Czech!". they were conscripted against their will by the Nazis as the Nazis were low on man power so were forcing men to fight for them, you can actually hear Miller(Tom Hanks) talking about how the garrison force was undermanned as it was lots of old men and young boys(you even see homie talking about the Hitler youth knife he gets off one of the bodies in the trench) and injured Germans and conscripts from occupied nations

David Zavala

Watch puss and boots

Dan

the war had already been going on for the Americans before Dday, thats how Mike got those cans of dirt, you can see africa and italy which is where they fought before getting to Dday

Dan

also Band of Brothers is based on a real story. like down to the actual tactics they really used IRL and it shows the perspective from the airborne who we met on this journey except again its real stories. they even have the vets at the start of every episode talk about each section

Sanji

can yall react to The Northman its amazing

Jonathan baez

Crazy how much history yall dont know lol

Jonathan baez

Rob the type to tell someone thats not my job in a war

ItsLargeDad

It truly is the only respectable way to watch them. 4 hours of pure greatness in that last movie

ItsLargeDad

I remember my dad having the giant steel case for band of brothers. As I got older I broke them out and watched them and was amazed at how good it was.

Sanji

Fury or The Northman next pls

Ez

Yo I didn't even see this drop let me order this pizza and I'm on vacation from work let's gooo!!

Alexander

Great reaction. You guys should watch Band of Brothers. Only 1 season, 10 episodes but it is legit one of the best seasons of anything I have ever watched.

Justin Carter

WATCH BAND OF BROTHERS NEXT

STATz Kilz

watch transformers movies next

Luce Sandoval

I would suggest Dunkirk, Black Hawk Down and Band of Brothers next !

Everett Tishler

Just to be clear, 29,000 was the recorded death toll for the US for the Normandy invasion.

Rathofreptar

Agree with Band of Brothers! The Pacific is also fantastic

Answer to a few questions: Who was the president during WWII? Franklin D Roosevelt (FDR). He served through the depression and the war. When did this take place? D-day was on June 6th 1944. How many people were there in D-day? 156K allied troops landed in D-day 73K American 62K British 21K Canadian commonwealth 7K water vessels 11K Aircraft’s About 10K died on D-day from allied forces How many Nazi forces were there during D-day? Roughly 40K nazi forces defended the beaches during D-day. Roughly 4-9K died. Many were forced to serve from other countries other than Germany. There might have been more but British intelligence convinced the Germans that the attack was somewhere else. There’s a whole story about this called “the man that never was” is an amazing story, worth reading. Where is the cemetery in the movie? It’s in Normandy France overlooking Omaha beach which is where D-day occurred. How many died during WWII? This video explains way better than I ever could. https://youtu.be/DwKPFT-RioU

You guys should consider reacting to The Lone Survivor and 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi

Brian O’connor

Pat was correct at the 9 min mark saying guns were affected by water, most guns back then would Jam after being submerged in water. Thats why they invented the M16 for Marines. You could drop 1 in the ocean for years, pull it out and shoot a whole clip perfectly

k p

Good job, guys! Thank you.

AyyitsTdogg

Blimps in WW2 were uswd during the normandy invasion to protect the naval invasion for aircrafts. It helps hide boats making it harder to target and doesnt allow planes to get closer

Coco Walker

The story itself as told is fictional. But Rob is 100% wrong about this being something that wasn't done as this is loosely based off events that took place more often than is fathomable during this particular war. The letter read in the beginning of the movie given in answer was a nod to this happening before plus the uptick of situations like this made congress push the military to have "The sole survivor" policy, so that American Male lines wouldn't be wiped out, like some were in the civil war. And yes, WW2 was a draft war though post Pearl Harbor volunteering did rise. And that was the Vietnam War 2 decades later with the Ali draft situation Pat....

As an army veteran I never understood why my grandfather never wanted to talk about WW2 when I was younger, until I deployed to Afghanistan
