JK Rowling didn't really plan ahead with the books and movies, that's why Ron isn't as surprised to see the invisibility cloak in the first movie as he should be compared to what it is, and there are continuity issues with most of the Horcrux storyline, there's no big problem with it other than her obsessive need to say she meant for it to play out like this when she clearly didn't.

racism comes in different forms and is a social construct. for the nazis the "aryan race" was the "master race" and they didn't want it tainted with "inferior" jewish blood. in harry potter, they think only wizards born into wizard families "purebloods" are worthy and they don't want it tainted with muggle "mudblood." they even consider wizard and witches with muggle parents as "mudbloods" and we saw them targeting the witch at the ministry accusing her of stealing her wand and not being a real witch because she had muggle parents.

Racism is prejudice plus power. In the last book all systems point towards pure-blood supremacy. There’s a clear political agenda against muggle-born wizards. That’s what the ministry was working on when Harry, Ron, and Hermione infiltrated it. How could that not be symbolic of racism??

I agree 100%. Though to be fair marleyans have more to fear about when it comes to titans. Pure bloods fear that muggles would ruin their world and that they would be better off without them. Marleyans are the ones more at risk imo. It doesn’t make racism right in anyway tho, you can’t overcome fears with hatred and by avoiding them, only by understanding. Both are very much examples of racism tho

Also, there are plenty of invisibility cloaks, they’re expensive, but they exist. Ron even says they’re super rare when Harry gets his, rare, not one of a kind. HOWEVER, Harry’s may or may not be special in the sense that it at least belonged to his father if not his grandfather, and most invis cloaks don’t last very long…
