Daniel is not in the wrong so I stand by his actions. Terry literally beat Stingray nearly to death and forced him to blame it on John Kreese. On top of that, he paid for Tori to win the match and went about it regardless of it being dishonorable. And all the stuff he did to Daniel years ago in Karate Kid 3, that’s something people don’t always get over 💯 especially when it leads to trauma that can mentally and physically effective you to where you can’t forget about all of that shit when you run into a guy like Silver before. Silver is manipulative, evil and twisted in his own way, so i side with Daniel. He has legitimate reasons to stop Silver from teaching his methods of karate like it’s war to kids who will just end up becoming bullies and turning their skills onto other innocent kids in and out of school. Silver is the villain of this season and he has to go, one way or another.

I think these dudes are downplaying the trauma that Daniel went through cause they're making it seem like he can just go to a therapist and not deal with Silver anymore. Daniel knows what Silver is capable of and what he can potentially do to the kids under him. He can't just willingly leave Silver alone knowing those kids are probably gonna be going through something like torture.

That's why I love Blindwave's reaction to Cobra Kai. They are true fans of the Karate Kid movies, so they understand the characters and what the show is going for.
