I hope they soon figure out that when Isagi is thinking, he is not just standing there for multiple seconds. It happens in a split second its just "anime-time". I think people get heated because it seems like he is wasting time

There are actual moments of him thinking too much in real time though. Even towards the end of the episode after Naruhaya got into Isagi's head he took advantage of him freezing up to get behind him.

Exactly devin, isagi couldn’t decide who to pick up which made him get in behind and he’s done it a lot before. plus rn isagi needs way more than just a shot rn, bc realistically he will not be lasting long if thats all he has

Its not even "he's bad", he has already stated to evolve his weapon to be able to fight one on one, he has to play Barou to understand it and Nagi understands that, that was the point of them training before the match and him telling Isagi he can not give him that exact situation practice.
