The movie was alright but way overhyped. None of the fights are that good and the story is standard shonen "power of love" shit we've seen a million times before. Its no where close to being one of the GOAT anime movies but I'm still hyped for JJK s2.

Right, it "only" applies to the person the story is about, which makes it the lynch pin of the movie's entire narrative. Also, read my words, I didn't say that "none of the fights are good" -- I said "none of the fights are *that* good. They're fine and the animation is well done but most are too short and one sided and its just not the big step up you expect from a movie. No body will be talking about a single fight in here a year from now. They're all forgettable.

There was no "power of love", in the sense that any characters love could do what yuta did. Yuta IS special, just like Gojo. They both have a metric fuckton of spiritual energy, it was just Yuta's power. We got the nanami 4x black flash ref shown, gojo vs miguel and yuta vs geto. Ignoring the nanami and yuta fight, Gojo fights alone will always be remembered, hes the most simp'd man in anime what are you smoking lmao. This is some hating to hate shit.
