Now we get to the good part. The first five episodes are like the prologue giving us the backstory and buildup. The next five are when we get to the good shit. Also Otto is definitely out for himself. He’s the one who pushed Rhaenyra to be the heir. If the King had died before he had a son it would have been war between Rhaenyra and Daemon and Otto would have accepted that to keep Daemon from the throne. Now he wants his grandson to be on the throne and is just using the potential of war as an argument.

2022-12-27 16:36:26 I agree with wellz on the fact that it seemed random sir criston Attacked Joffery. even tho he did have that convo, it wasn't really threating at all. but we see sir Criston was watching Rhyaenera the whole time and i think he saw what her and Dameon were doin and then went to get daemon. but Sir Joffrey stepped in bc of that talk and sir criston killed him out of anger bc if he killed daemon then everyone on his ass. And these shows are def where rob show his smartness

Yeah, I really think he just snapped. He clearly can't stand the shame of having to keep the secret anymore. The Daemon shit was weird for him, I'm sure. And also realizing he'd have to protect the secret of Laenor being gay on top of his own and feeling the dishonor he's bringing to his white cloak and to his family made him just straight-up lose it.
