This man Jerry went from being the first to notice in mushoku tensei episode 14, to completely goofing up this episode by mistaking nanahoshi that was with orsted for somebody else.. Also they finally mentioned the OVA about time.

Imo Re:zero is the best isekai. Better than Slime & Mushoku. Hopefully they can watch that too

Fully agree. Even though I like reincarnated as a slime, with the amount of politics and lack of action that happens in Slime I'd be shock if they didn't drop the anime again. Re Zero is definitely more their speed.

Re anime is mid(leaves out wayyyy too much plot), re LN is peak but its not finished and mushoku is literally isekai peak, shit is what originated it all. Hard to compare when we don't have an ending, and re:zero has a lot of plot to tie up. I'd agree both are better than slime, slime is solid af tho.

I think they already tried watching re zero and couldn't get into it. I like Re:zero but it's mid compared to Mushoku. It's a bit of a slog and can be fustrating to watch at times.

@Woah They have never tried watching Re Zero, you are thinking of Fate Zero. Rezero for sure is an anime they'd like since they like watching a lot of edgy shows that got tons of death and gore. The only thing they might not like is the MC cause of how cringe he acts but if you can be friends with a cringe nigga like Jerry, I'm sure they'll be alright.

@Mad4Life They never posted any reactions to it, but a while back they mentioned that they had tried watching it but couldn't get into it. You're right though, Subaru himself is probably the worst part about the show. It does have some really amazing moments for sure.

I highly recommend you guys watch Rise of the Shield Hero or Re Zero before you even try Slime. Slime is an anime that's very politically focused and I won't lie when I say it lacks much action. Like Slime isn't a bad anime but it's not really an anime you guys would like that much compared to something like Shield Hero that's more action focused or Re Zero with it's crazy villains and psychological horror.

Re zero is way better than this in terms of plots and characters but I wouldn't recommend them watch it as they lack the attention span and thought process needed for that show.

Also Yaboiroshi personally recommended and cosigned Ranking of Kings and they ended up not liking it. Also when it comes to yaboiroshi and the others they tend to have unrealistic expectations for main characters that's why you always see them complain about the MCs no matter what they do. Any anime or show that's meant to invoke high stress sets them off. That's why you always see them get so angry watching zombie shows where characters aren't meant to always make the right decisions. Look at All of us are dead and see RTTV's reaction to the show and look at Yaboiroshi channel reaction to the show and you'll see why RTTV would appreciate a horror series more than Roshi, Sheera and Lupa. All the crazy fuckshit in Rezero is exactly their cup of tea.

I honestly think the fans are just stuck on the hype of season 1 when it released & can't see the flaws others point out because of that.

Nah im with you. I have been watching anime for almost 2 decades and the concept of re zero was really good but the execution was shit. i am also someone who doesnt like romance based anime so that may be a part of it but when the show sells itself as an action isekai it kinda missed. The crossover between the japanese way of thinking and the western way of thinking for a Beta MC isnt there and I think the boys would get pissed with how beta the MC is pretty quickly.Look at all the shows they like. MC either starts off weak and get strong or starts off strong and learns humanity. They hate weak ass characters that bring a princess-y need to be saved vibe.

Re Zero is something that NEEDS to be on this channel. It is the definition of character development, has it's action, and lots of great dialogue. So many great characters that are well written as well, I mean the only bad thing is the MC's decision making at times, but that goes to show how realistic it is. You don't just wake up in a new world, spend a day or two and have all the answers. Re:Zero is the most realistic take on an isekai anime there is.

It showed his old tied up self just as he was walking out the tent. So he is officially moving past his old trauma and leaving that self behind. He has grown. No longer burdened by the old him

Light Novel vs Light novel. AKA comparing both stories finished, Re:zero is lacking in terms being able to want to root for the MC. Subaru's character is pretty bland and that just sucks the adventurous feel out of what could have been an awesome story. The setting and potential they had was wasted
