Id say the bro thing never took me out in dub just because of the really bombastic and over the top nature of the show. Its a more direct ish translation from japanese to english. Not literally but the way of speaking in the whole show just isnt how we speak in english a lot of times. And it can seem corny. And in a lot of shows that would be a huge annoyance. But the style of this show works for it. Especially because i enjoy a lot of the speeches in english better. English isnt as much of a dynamic sounding language so a lot of speeches tonally sound great in english here.
