I think doffys mistake was putting his entire plan on sugar. Her fruit is super op and def was a solid plan, no doubt. But him having no other option but to reveal his hand and use the bird cage was what lead to his inevitable downfall imo. I dont think he was sleeping on anyone really though, or over confident. Like, exp with his rankings. He even recognized Usopp's value to the plan. Most villans don't pay attention at all to any of the straw hats that aren't the big combatants. Imo, he was more cautious than most OP villans.

This episode is proof Jerry is either the biggest hater or if he's really on something cause he seriously thought Usopp wasn't going to be named. Usopp literally ruined Doflamingo's entire plan. Jerry you can still redeem yourself by episode 697, don't go out sad my guy.

It's really weird that everyone is calling jerry a hater for not thinking Usopp was gonna be named. Like I prefer someone to have a different, not negative, opinion and then be surprised after. That's part of the fun. It's not because he's hating, he explained it's because he didn't think Doffy saw what Usopp did and wouldn't know to name him. I get what he means, relax.

folks don't really care about his takes, he just obnoxious with it it's like ok we get it bruh, Usopps scary he doesn't want the smoke blah blah blah, but stop screaming over important parts of the episode to make your points. Also the constant drowning everyone else out during a fight. Like i said its not what he says its how he goes about it.
