I’m not up to date on the manga but my assumption is that she will play an important role in the future considering she is a strong mage. From a strategic standpoint, it makes sense that Bojji and Daida keep her around and it helps that she has an emtoional attachment to both of them.

Oh I just meant how the story let her off with no consequence. Like normally stories don't ignore what someone did with redemption taking time but here it kinda just jumps to that part hoping sympathy covers for lost writing. It just kinda felt out of nowhere.

Miranjo is 15-16 physically. She died at that age, but if you count the mirror shes 27-28. Boiji is 14 so Daida is around 12.

They forgot the whole premise of the Ranking of Kings. The number 1 king gets access to this crazy treasure vault where you can get anything, but every number 1 King has picked the same thing in the treasure vault and also gone insane. Strange right? Pat was waay off with his take on what happened with the Demon and King Desha. King Desha denied the number 1 rank already and only accepted once he saw he couldn't bring his brother with the wish. So he wants to get his brother back by accessing the Vault of the Ranking of Kings.

can yall please stop having robby yell over yall so yall can actually explain to him cuz yall arguing about the Different Shit But Ultimately thats how expectations work. You can hold onto it like wellz or not like robby. Its all situational. and until whatever is that was to be expected is revealed or not to you, then that's when you'd give your judgement. I feel like Ranking of kings is making us become invested in the story if they are planning a 2nd season all these unanswered questions and stuff thats the only thing i can see cuz this story seems complicated to me... unless they just sold it bad with writing but idk if can tell of this season but i do like the show and im curios what happens. i think I'm hearing RTTV saying they kind of want long format anime back but lowkey

You're completely off track with the last scene. Previously the ranking guy mentioned that The Vault (which can only be accessed by the 1st ranked) supposedly contains something that can dispell Oken's curse. The Vault is also the reason why he forgave Despa and the Captain right away and then accepted the rank 1 title (to get to the vault).

I don't think they said you go to hell just because you made a contract witht that devil. They said you go to hell if you don't keep a promise to that devil, which is completely different. For whatever little sense the ending makes, at least this is in line with why Bosse didn't seem to go to hell, he just made a contract, he didn't lie to the devil.
