To Pat's point, Rengoku is stronger than Uzui he just unfortunately ran into the wrong demon. If you look back to like 2 episodes ago Uzui was basically saying how he isn't as strong as some of the other Hashira. Also you have to remember that Uzui fought the lowest of the upper ranks.

This finale was awesome! I only wish we got to see the Upper-Rank meeting. The next season for both Demon Slayer and Haikyu!! should be announced (hopefully) on February 20th with the Weekly Shonen Jump release. Also, the Demon Slayer Twitter gave a little sneak peek into the next arc

so basically then light and dark ume/daki essentially chose damnation/hell to remain with her brother the show and manga makes it seem as tho the light led to heaven and i think it also means a lot that you see ume in purgatory and not daki as if purgatory was giving her the option to take heaven as she was on her deathbed when she turned to a demon it wasnt her choice her brother essentially made that choice for her...............

Props to Patrick for realizing how strong Rengoku was for putting up a great fight against Akaza cuz if Uzui and all Inosuke, Zenitsu, Tanjiro and even Nezuko.....If all of them were BARLEY enough to defeat an Upper Six(as snake nigga said.. "a lowly Upper Six" IMAGE how much stronger Akaza was and Renguko was taking him on alone WHILE protecting Tanjiro and everyone else.
