I think with the people who got bit and didn't turn, it's potentially a kind of more "realistic" twist on zombies. Viruses do tend to affect people differently based on their genes and blood types and shit like that (as we've seen with covid), so I'm assuming they just have a certain genetic makeup that makes it more likely for the virus to evolve in them and take on a more symbiotic relationship with the host as opposed to killing them and making mfs go dummy zombie mode

Wellz and Pat need to chill tf out and stfu bout the black hair girl(class prez) cuz she aint being pessimistic. Wtf do you want her to say? "dont worry pals, well be okay as long as we have friendship and hope". Like what? She is just speaking facts and stating what needs to be done. This shit aint sweet, they're watching people die in front of their eyes, there nothing positive to say. She isn't being negative either. She's just keeping it real, shit isn't looking good in their favor rn . The other girl was right, they need Hope but hope isnt gonna solve all their problems and beat the zombies now is it?? They also need to be logical and make solid decisions, the class prez never lied about that. because earlier Wellz yelled at her for saying "In times like this people tend to despair so we all shouldn't despair" aka she was saying they also need to keep the hope. And then right after when Cheong was stuck in the water drain shaft he was about to despair until he had his lil flashback and got the will to actually move and get out. So yall really need to chill on her cuz she just stating facts and keeping it real with everyone.
