madara was fed/merged to the tree in the war.. black zetsu was the "karma" that turned madara into an otsutsuki, black zetsu was "kaguya's will" and madara made himself a vessel when he got hashirama powers kaguya's tree was going to blossom because "Madara Otsutsuki" was absorbed. even at then end when they cut the devine tree down Madara fell out the tree..none of this is officially confirmed but its pretty obvious given the info we have

To poke a hole in y’all theories, Boruto had a completely different form when Momoshiki took over him. Kawaki would be the same. Boruto in the flashforward referred to him as “Kawaki” so I doubt he’d be talking to Isshiki like that and Isshiki wouldn’t be referring to himself as Kawaki either. Both Boruto and Kawaki in the flashforward activated their Karmas and it was pretty much the same as when they both activated them together any other time we’ve seen. SomI don’t think that’s Isshiki in the future.

Idk about that cause the tree that emerged during the Great Ninja War was only used for the purpose of activating the infinite tsukuyomi. Basically it wasn't a complete divine tree to grow a proper chakra fruit but it was enough to do the bare minimum which is the infinite tsukuyomi.

not saying that your wrong but that was based on what madara thought was going on, black zetsu literally finessed him the whole time to do all these things to revive kaguya and the infinite tsukuyomi literally creates the fruit at the top by siphoning the worlds chakra

I'm not disagreeing with that part but based on what Isshiki said Madara wasn't enough to grow a proper chakra fruit since he was a pseudo Otsutsuki. Basically even though the fruit emerged during the Great War it wouldn't have been ripe since it didn't have good enough feed.
