Ahsoka Tano

The mangaka of Tokyo Revengers used to be in a actual delinquent gang growing up. I know the plot seems crazy cause of their age, but Takemichi is 15 and Mikey and Draken are 16 at the moment. High School in Japan is only 10-12, so they're basically freshman and 8th graders. Just think of kids out here in the west in gangs, niggas be on some crazy shit, age don't matter. Like look at the Bronx Drill scene right now, all those kids are like 12-19, and kids young as 13 getting shot in their face in broad daylight or slumped in taxi's.

The juvenile delinquency plot of this anime gets criticized for being corny and unbelievable because of how far fetched it seems, but this was a real and prevalent culture in Japan in the 70's and 80's, if you ever have the chance, read the details of the Murder of Junko Furuta, it's some truly horrifying shit.

Japanese biker gangs were extremely dangerous back in the day. And I think Wellz, you were kind of surprised that they used bats to beat people, that's an actual thing and a lot of people would die from those beatings. Also, gang members did have codes and a hierarchy. Animes often seem exaggerated, but always stay very true to History/Japanese History to some extent.
