A lot of people had a major problem with this ending because of so many peoples revival thanks to Nagato, But what they have to understand is that it was the only way for people Who hated Pain beforehand to forgive him and to forgive himself after learning the truth. Naruto didn’t exactly “defeat” him. Nagato just lost to the Truth of his past self. Best ending to any arc of this series. While there may be many legendary moments after this point, NONE compared to these last two arcs. EP’s 113-175 is and will always be PRIME SHIPPUDEN!!!!!

Honestly, even now I’m forced to respect him after this. I just hope he doesn’t claim any statements of his in the future as if they are facts such as “this is the best opening/villain of the series” after this point, he can have opinions just like the rest of us but sometimes it’s almost as if when he or some people say certain things and make claims they genuinely believe it to be a fact.

So, it just occurred to me that episode 167 originally aired exactly 10 years ago on the day that they posted this which was on the 1st. That’s insanely coincidental and appropriate but at the same time I must say that the episode holds up. Talk about a perfect time to wrap this up on the Fourth of July with this painful year.

IMO the Pain arc would've been more meaningful if Nagato didn't brink all those people back to life I hated that talk no jutsu shit but at least it's better than the ones to come

I also hated that Sakura hugged him but it was more about the symbolism since the author wanted to display that everyone in the village truly accepted Naruto now even Sakura who legit hated Naruto and made fun of him for being an orphan at the beginning of the show.

this is what made Pain such a trash villain. All his badassery got thrown in the trash when he revived everyone. how can you just have a 180 like that. Cant believe we finally made it here XD lit episode. Next arc is again super fucking lit. Again one of the best in this anime. Konoha is a phony ass village for that lmfao dont @ me. Imo the true villains in the entire show really just be the villages and their shady governments lol.

Rewatching this made me realise how brilliant the storytelling really was, once again. Pain was really the character that helped Naruto understand Sasuke better. Sasuke is basically a victim of the same circumstances Nagato explained relating to war, corruption, loss, pain, vengeance and the cycle of hatred.

Looks like Pat is all good with that bet he made. If they actually went through w. the bet then Rob would've had to give the money back to Pat since Kakashi is back. I know Rob hating that Kakashi is alive now lmao. 175 is one of my favorite episodes so much nostalgia and you see how far Naruto has come, definitely one of the happiest episodes

Yas, this arc still goes down as a personal favourite. Still cry heaps. But I’m so excited for what’s to come. Also I might be the only one but talk no jutsu is my favourite jutsu. The fights are exciting, but I always preferred the deep stuff.

People didnt like how nagato changed his mind at the end, but if you think about it, villains always be changing their mind after they are beat and saying their final words. Atleast this time the villain had a change of heart while he could still redeem himself and do something useful.

bro they this far in & people still want them to switch in sub just deal with the dub if you aren't a fan of it/like sub better i understand people have their preferences but they're this far in and have been watching naruto in sub so they are used to it, its also more convenient for reactions and sometimes they might have a convo over important parts so one of them can tell them what they missed easily but it'll be hard to do that with sub
