Nagato’s Pain truly is greater then anyone else in this series. As I was watching these two episodes back in the day, I realized that they were born into the 2nd Great Ninja war when the series or dub made us think it was the 3rd war instead. That means as if it wasn’t bad enough to be born into war, he experienced it again only a few years later. As if it wasn’t bad enough to lose his parents in front of him, he lost the one friend that gave him his dream as if nothing mattered anymore. He didn’t choose nor asked for any of this, he was just forced to live through it, unlike a certain couple of Uchihas who choose their path, albeit one far better than the other. The only ones who really compare are Naruto and Garra. That’s why I always hated any moment they brought up “Madara” Or Tobi because it just tried to lowball and take away what was Pain, and it only goes downhill after the next couple of episodes. I genuinely don’t see or understand how anyone can say ANY Uchiha is better than the likes of Nagato as the Acknowledged one and Pain as the face/force of the Akatsuki (暁). I think (or at least Hope) we can all agree that the Uchihas are MAD overrated in general. It’s mad funny because I look like Madara in RL.......

Nagato and konan are older than kakashi, yahiko’s death happened a few months after obito gave his eye to kakashi

Lol no it’s not, everything that happened to nagato literally also happened to kakashi, spoiler alert: even the way rin died was exactly the same way yahiko died. Atleast nagato still has konan, kakashi had no one. The difference is nagato blames the world while kakashi blamed himself

I wonder if they noticed that Nagato's kid voice actor is the same as Edward Elric - Vic Mignogna. It's not as obvious when he's voicing the adult, but it's basically the same voice when he's a kid.

I think alot of us can agree that Nagato is definitely the strongest character in Naruto besides Naruto, i know some will say Sasuke which is true both Naruto and Sasuke are the strongest but i feel like so many forget how powerful Nagato truly is.

Nagato, using the rods as chakra receivers is able to pass on his powers but chose to pass only one of the the six paths powers to each of the bodies with the exception of Yahiko. And Yahiko was considered the main body of Pein it is known as the Deva path which allowed him to do multiple jutsu and abilites as you saw with the almighy push, universal pull, planetary devistation etc. There are six paths of Pein in total. The Deva path (Tendō) , Asura path (Shuradō) , Human path (Ningendō), Animal path (Chikushōdō), Preta path (Gakidō), and Naraka path (Jigokudō). These paths are related to Buddhist paths of reincarnation.

I'm late but dubbed doesn't do the second episode justice. It sounds sooooo much better in subbed. The GEDO MAZO scream was so good in subbed. You can feel the emotion of that scene so much better
