It could be the case that Becca was paid off and the kid was planned... if so that makes Homelander the victim in that situation...

Yo shut the fuck up Rob! Just because you can convince someone once doesn't mean you'll always convince them... that's a stupid argument. Butcher did convince all of them to join! The show even shows he how he learned how to do it! In the flashback Mallory said 100% the SAME thing to Butcher that he said to Hughie... That's a manipulation tactic. Frenchy told him to fuck off and Butcher convinced him by saying they saw his face so he has to help. Sure they all had motive but without Butcher convincing them none of them would've gotten involved...

This show is up there in my top 5 for the year. Agents of Shield, Stranger Things, and a few others, but damn "The Boys" season 1 was magnicifent. I think you guys are shocked as much as Billy Butcher is from finding out the truth.

yea i think they did that because they knew homelander would be evil because of the lab so they made sure his son was raised with a mother so he could maybe fight and kill the father in the future. he may be more powerful than the dad because he was born that way too
