IMO hes basically a god. But hes a narcissistic sociopath and she isn't. So when the easy plan failed he just said fuck it and let everyone die because he really doesn't care. He couldn't be bothered to put in the extra effort to try out the other alternatives because he doesn't think that the peoples lives are worth the extra effort. That's the level hes on. He doesn't want to save people. Hes above that. He's playing real world 4D chess with peoples lives for one of the few things he does value. Power. But hes wrapped around the boss' finger so he decided to flip the story and use it as a chance to militarize the sups, gaining her approval, expanding the company and thus gaining power.

All the superman plane plane saving is bullshit. Its not possible Physics wouldn't allow it. Homelander mentions it he would just punch through the plane.

I think by diversity he meant what the word is defined...they needed someone different than everyone else-- they are all typical in their powers. And the is part fish lol. Also.... Black Noir. dude I started dancing to spice girls. That Homelander scene is the only one of the series that made me little pissed is, they copy the words the president did at Ground Zero at 911.

what would happen to the plane is basically what happened in episode one when queen maeve went through the truck. imagine trying to push a something heavy without touching the ground having your feet brace you. you cant push something in the air without pushing yourself back equally.

OK a little real life science... the "Superman lifting the plane" thing couldn't happen in real life... the speed they're falling and the speed he'd be flying to keep up make the force impossible for the material the plane is made of to hold up... So he'd fly through the plane and EVEN IF he could "catch the plane" it's not structurally sound enough to stay together without being supported. So if you tired to lift it from just one spot the plane would fall apart. Think of trying to life a car from just the bumper... you wouldn't pick up the car you'd just rip off the bumper. tl;dl It wasn't possible to save them... Homelander isn't god and Superman doesn't follow real world science.

You guys are forgetting. If homelandr couldn’t save the plane, why would stillwell send him? She would know if he’s capable or not. He let them die on purpose, it was apart of his plan to get in the military. And homelander is really just psychotic lol.

Nah, she sent him cause he could get there faster than the fighter jets. It's just like Robbie said, he just kinda fights. A fascinating thing about being naturally OP, is sometimes it means you lack actual technique.

We just have to realize that Super flight is actually a Psychic ability. Levitation & acceleration. Depending on what your Levitative compacity is, you could lift a plane.
