They can do Zetsu just like Gon could when he trailed Hisoka. They're strong because Ants and other insects&bugs can lift 40+ times their body weight. Then they have other animals strengths mixed in there.

Thanks for the fire content guys! It's crazy that the three royal guards and the king haven't even been born yet and the ants are already this strong! Looking forward to the rest of this arc, I think I'm gonna upgrade for the full reactions

Yo ,RTTV, the ants haven't learned nen yet. Gon was able to hide his presence(use zetsu) in the Hunter's exam when following Hisoka, and he hadnt learn nen yet.

Notice how rammot took gon’s strongest nen attack and survived it WITHOUT USING NEN. That gives an idea of how strong the ants are. Also rob, Kurapika wouldn’t be useful in this arc because Gon and Killua are already stronger than kurapika at this point in the story. Even if kurapika could use is phantom trouble abilities on ants they would still be able to break his chains without using nen.

Chimera Ants are born way stronger than humans lol without nen they are able to lift 50 times their body weight and they have multiple species within them

I assume because they are part animal that they can use Zetsu. Like animals conceal their presence all the when hunting or hiding.

That's gunna be a big disagree from me, fam. If you read the manga, you'd know how strong Kurapika is even without his Phantom Troupe specific abilities. With those abilities though, he's probably on par with any troupe member, and even the physically strongest troupe member couldn't break the chains. Keep in mind the troupe also pretty casually dealt with a officer ants in a series of 1v1. Only Feitan really had to try, and when he tried he obliterated the captain completely.

To be fair, real life ants can only do this because of their relative size. If a human were reduced to the size of an ant, we'd be capable of something similar. On the other end of the spectrum, the largest animal on earth, a blue whale, can only barely control it's own body weight with the assistance of sea water. Hence why a beached whale is basically helpless.

A few have already mentioned, but Rammot can conceal his presence naturally because he's part animal, but it's something people can learn to do before using nen, like Gon did during the exam.

Someone needs to tell Rob that Kurapika isn't that strong. He would easily get bodied by any chimera ant. He is only strong against Phantom Troupe members.

Completely false, he is extremely strong as you would know if you read the manga. He is mega op against the troupe but he is still considered a top hunter regardless. He is essentially the product of natural talent and a drive and purpose to become powerful. Much like killua and gon have that potential but lack drive or purpose because they are children and fuck around and thats why they were far behind him when they met up in yorknew

I just want to say to Rob that the world is vast, and so is the Hunter Association, there are other people aside from the Phantom Troupe or Kurapika who can fight these ants. It's not like the Hunter Association or Gon is gonna call the Troupe and be like "Hey guys, wanna kill some monsters and help us save the world? Please?" :P But you're right, things are gonna get epic. Also, the Ants are very strong, some insects can lift dozens or even hundreds of times their body weight, have super speed vision, etc. And they can all use Zetsu even if they don't know Nen because of their animal instincts. The power scaling for now is : Squad Leader (Colt) > Captains (Rammot) > Grunts (the ants that can't speak). But not all Squad Leaders or Captains are necessarily on the same level.

It is, but their are good traits passed down from the inhabitants of NGL, so it evens it out, but the more dangerous thing is the chimera ants vicious nature with the human psyche. example: Colt and Bihorn are examples of good people eaten by chimera ants

Minor Spoiler since you'll learn this very soon, but Rammot is an Enhancer. He naturally has the boosted offensive and defensive capabilities that someone like Gon has.

Aight, 2nd HxH full reaction upload and I must say I gave Rob shit last 2 episodes for ffing with his phone during episodes. This time he didn't do such thing. i really just wish rob didn't always hate on characters that aren't Kurapika. I love Kurapika and Gon but Killua's my favourite. It's kind of making me not like Kurapika as much.. i know that sounds petty.. I'm all here for some banter and difference of opinion but kinda over having my favourite character constantly trash talked haha Edit: just wanted to clarify i do still love Kurapika lol and I'm not saying he can't be his favourite just don't want him to always hate on the others :) while it's okay to have bias, i think too much bias can sometimes take away from how much you enjoy the show. But thats just my opinion you do what you want! they're your videos, not mine haha
