Part of me always felt Lori was upset at Rick because he let/made Carl take out Walker shame because that’s when her look & body language truly changed if you rewatch the scene. But I could see it from both sides, the Shane side makes SO much LESS sense tho

Sarah (actor for Lori) actually said that it was a combination of several things in that moment that made Lori lash out at Rick like that. Things such as her feeling disgusted with herself for putting Rick and Shane at odds with each other, Rick killing Shane as a result, and Carl putting down Walker!Shane took away his innocence. Of course, throw in pregnancy hormones and it just makes everything even worse. I believe Sarah also said that Lori here at the start of S3 is when she's had time to calm down and think everything over (since a few months had passed by this point), hence why she isn't hostile towards Rick anymore. It's because she understands. Too bad Lori didn't immediately act calm at the end of S2, huh?

I love how the group is like a well-oiled machine now. Everyone got so much better at everything. Even Carol! Not gonna lie, but I really like this side of Rick, especially with how he seems more confident and firm with his leadership role. Also loved how he handled that whole bite situation with Hershel.
