LOL I actually never thought about the water benders attacking them at night. However, I do think there's a limit to their bending capabilities because it definitely takes a certain amount of concentration to waterbend. Imagine how hard it would be to focus during an ambush after being at peace for 85 years (Attack on Titan - prime example lol). You won't be prepared. It took a whole boat of waterbenders to trap one Fire Navy ship in ice. It slowed them down but wouldn't keep the whole fleet from the island, in the long run. But I think yall have figured out how some of the cosmic elements play into bending and, I agree, the water tribe should've attacked at night for at least a little advantage.

Think about is like this the waterbenders that were there weren’t crazy strong. At most average. Water is not really an offensive element, Fire is though. That whole ship of waterbenders could only control so much water in an area. It would take a lot of concentration to make a huge wave.

Y'all need to chill for real. Just because you payed $5 doesn't mean they should adhere to your every whim. They very clearly posted a statement saying that the schedule would be whack for the holidays. Let them enjoy their lives for a bit; they said the schedule would be back on track on the 8th.
