We don’t know what happened to the daughter but y’all can probably imagine so bad shit. And yes the mom had multiple jobs and was in sex work for bread. She owed money to some shady niggas and got her daughter taken and couldn’t found her. The mom did one last ballet dance on a top of a building and jumped off and the end, committing suicide☹️☹️

after i saw this ep i read the chapter that was adapted, This is def my second favorite anime rn, But also i think its implied the daughter was Taken and or Sold, And most likely died by being mistreated bc we see her as a child with her mom, in what seems like the afterlife or wherever spirits reside, or they could've been lookin at the stars together another time
