I enjoyed season 1 more than this season honestly.....this season put way to much stuff in it and in turn it ended up suffering pacing issues. Also they introduced so many new side characters on top of the already immense amount of side characters from S1 and TBH I don't care about any of them. The half season break was a horrible decision as well because it lowkey killed the hype. I don't know man it's just a lot of decisions in this season were made that I didn't agree with. Omni-Man, Debbie, and Rex lowkey carry this show on their backs. But I'm not going to lie, Mark really stepped up for me as a character in these last 3 episodes, so the best thing about this season I guess is that I started to appreciate him a lot more as the main character.

I think what a lot of people don't understand is that 3d animation has a lot of ways to make certain things easier, moving a model to do run, punch, or fly is much simpler since you don't need to draw all of the parts. Of course there's other areas where its harder for 3d like backgrounds where it all has to be modeled, textured and set up well with a lighting engine, or light source for more important shots can be as time consuming. I think the switch to 3d for most traditional 2d studios showed to me that it was cheaper or quicker.

I thought the same as Wellz. What did Angstrom do to make Mark hunt him down and taunt him in so many universes? You can say it isn't targeted, but Mark specifically pulled on Angstrom, called him by name, mocked him, then killed his son. Mark also purposely swerved Angstrom as a cop on the bridge. They got beef that goes wayyy back, for sure.

Yeah this season was great, but in terms of build-up, I think S1 was better. And to me, Invincible is better than the Boys. As someone who read the Invincible comics and the Boys comics, and now watching the shows, the Invincible comics dominate the comics. I enjoy both Invincible and the Boys, but for the story, Invincible is way better. People watch the Boys because of the hype around Homelander and maybe Soldier Boy. Butcher barely gets attention. While for Invincible, there’s some who read comics and watch the show for Mark and Omni-Man, Allen, Atom Eve, and Battle Beast. There’s other characters on par with them, but I won’t spoil who they are lol

I feel like the first season coming out week to week with an overarching plot made it more cohesive and enjoyable. This season kind of suffered with it being split into two parts which kind of slowed the hype for it and it was more development for characters if anything.

It’s easy to talk shit about Mark and say he had no other choice but there’s a difference between saying it and actually going through with it. Just because anyone in that situation would lose control, doesn’t mean his feelings aren’t valid, especially with what he’s been through prior with his dad. It’s not just the fact that he killed someone, it’s the fact that he lost control and doesn’t want to be like his dad

I like both seasons for different reasons. The 1st season told a more cohesive story with a captivating mystery of Nolan's motives that had an exceedingly satisfying payoff by the season's end. While this season may have been a setup season, it did an amazing job developing and progressing multiple characters like Debbie, Mark, Omnimnan, Immortal, Rex, Allen, and etc. Especially making Amber more sympathetic and likable compared to Season 1. I would say the first couple and final couple of episodes were more enjoyable for season 1. While I preferred Season 2's mid section more than Season 1. Sort of balances out for me.

Rob tripping there’s one or 2 boring episodes in season 1 this season had way more fights and had action in almost every episode everything y’all complain about in season 1 they fixed we seen more viltrumites, amber wasn’t annoying, mark improved, and rob tripping Omni man only wild out for 2 episodes in season 1 the first and last. If you go episode by episode season 1 has nothing on season 2

I know why they had to take a break. I know it was basically an unavoidable decision BUT it still killed the hype no matter how unavoidable it was. So yea it’s still one of my issues with the way this season went, even though I don’t blame the show or animators at all, but it was still one of my issues because it killed the hype for me.
