I understand not liking the idea of them going back in time immediately rather than us living through the deaths for a few episodes but this anime wasn’t really meant to be something dark. It's an uplifting anime with a lot of comedic relief but when they do sad moments, they can pull it off. If you want death and despair, wait till the next arc but again that isn't what Ft is at its core. I'd rather yall drop the show if you aren't gonna even try to understand what it's trying to do. The blind hate is lame at this point.

yeah they never try to understand much of the stuff that happens anyone can spoil them. if there pissing off people by not paying attention an missing important dialog then acting confused like it didn't happen 30 seconds ago and then go on to hate shit they refused to understand. i feel you

Ultear's sacrifice was dope, one of the few instances I was surprised by Fairy Tail. Not only did she actually die but she failed in her initial goal to reverse back time to before the gate opened. Although she managed to save people it wasn't exactly as planned, it was a good twist and an excellent climax to her character arc!! put some respecttt
