Bullying is a common topic in kdramas bcuz its a common thing in Korea. Physical bullying has gone up 10% in the last decade despite them trying to raise awareness of it via media. And believe it or not, this is tame compared to bullying in Japan. Its down right cruel there.

Y’all bullying in Korea is the real deal it’s sickening what they’ve got going on over there I was watching a video about a case in 2004 where a 14 year old girl was bullied and graped by 120+ middle school and only 44 were caught their justice system and society is so fucked that all the charges where thrown out because the judge felt sorry because they were young and most of them were signed up for college or work and only 5 ended up going to a juvenile centre

The reason why they make kdramas bullying seem so dramatic is because it is very common in Korea and happens quite often than you think

I'd say he uses studying as an outlet, so the bullying and his home life was already too much and that was the tipping point. Like say you're having a shitty day but you have your favourite snack at home that you can't wait to eat, only to find out someone ate it. You'd understandably go a bit nuts lol.

I see why people would think that Si Eun has anger issues (he may have some), but bullies are parasites. Once they find a target, they stick to it until the end. As you now know, bullying can get pretty violent pretty fast. Si Eun just knows how those bullies move, whether they're school bullies or street bullies (they give off that same rotten energy I guess). You saw how they came for Bum Seok right away. Those bullies know how to pick their targets and they talk to each other and share victims. Bro, if I knew people would try to take advantage of me everywhere I go, try to harm me, I'd arm myself too, like what!
