It's been a month. Where I've been. (Patreon)

Okay. So here's where I've been, and why I haven't posted lately.

I had surgery. Nothing life-threatening or dire. Just a one-time permanent fix to an internal problem. But I've basically been... indisposed for a couple weeks now, and I need to continue taking it easy for the next couple weeks. (That first week was pure hell. God.) After the 6-week official recovery time is done, I will basically be back to my old self, and can start exercising and doing physical labor again. But I cannot strain myself until then. Can't risk lifting anything heavier than 10 pounds. (Incidentally, I'm thankful there hasn't been much snow this year, because between a spinal condition, arthritis, and a foot injury and congestive heart condition, my elderly parents can't shovel the driveway. That's my job.)

I also went to the eye doctor, got some prescriptions, and had to buy some glasses from Zenni. My vision is actually very good for my age. But I have a very mild astigmatism, and so I got some computer glasses that just make everything slightly clearer. They really do work. My headaches feel much less frequent.

Plus, I've been distracted with some drama/emergencies within my immediate friend group, so that's also taken a lot of energy out of me.

So I've been taking it easy. And that's why I haven't been doing much art lately.

But it's not fair that you all should pay for my shit when you're basically getting nothing in return.

Therefore, as a Christmas gift to you all, I am making this coming month of my Patreon free. I'll pause the billing as soon as this post is done.

And again. I am truly sorry that I haven't been posting the content you've been wanting.

I need to do better.  I need to be better.

I've kickstarted a project that should help my artistic skills in the future, and this coming year, I will try extra hard to not just make more art for you, but also to improve myself in general. Health-wise, and art-wise.
