Gonna take some time to try and improve myself this month. (Patreon)

A certain patron told me that I was… kind of losing my way in regards to my art. That I was turning into little more than a commission artist with no real vision.

Now, in the interests of privacy, I won’t repeat their exact words, since I think they were a bit overly harsh, given my current RL circumstances…

But, in a way, they are kind of right. Lately, it seems like all I ever really do is… scribble. Just scribble, I don’t remember the last time I produced a fully finished color picture.

Soooo…. I don’t know. Maybe I just need to get outside my bubble and try some new things. So I might take a month to simply try and bring some… LIFE back into my art. Perhaps find some films/comics I especially like, and study them extensively, see if I can perhaps integrate some other artists’ “souls” into my own art.

Kind of like an ancient lich lord, except with drawings. :P

So yeah. That’s what I’m gonna do this month. Try lots of new, unusual things, and perhaps try and copy a lot of art and see what I can learn.

Don’t worry. I’ll post what I draw. And if I do decide to post these "copies" I make, I'll give full credit for the originals.

And I will still be taking sketch/flat color commissions in my streams a couple times a week, so keep an eye on your inboxes.
