The Holy Grail War. A clashing of ideals during each generation over possession of the titular Holy Grail, a wish granting device that could grant whomever possessed it their wildest dreams… or so the stories went. Surely in each war there were those that thought of the Holy Grail as such a romantic device, but there were also those that could grasp its true nature as well. There was nothing pure about that grail nor was there anything pure about how it came into being. 

The war fought to claim it was both bloody and cruel, pitting magi against one another with Servants as their tools. Servants were uncanny familiars of sorts, the souls of warriors lost to history given supernatural breath in the time they were summoned. To summon one such Servant, a proper ritual was usually required, and yet…
